Jeanloup Sieff (1933-2000) was a French photographer. He began shooting fashion photography in 1956 and joined the Magnum Agency in 1958, which encouraged extensive travelling. Based in New York during the 60s, he freelanced for Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and Elle.

After graduating in Philosophy in 1945, he began many different studies, each of them for a very little time including literature, journalism and photography at Vaugirard in Paris at Vevey in Switzerland. The French photographer Jeanloup Sieff (1933-2000) began photographing in the 1950s.
